NEEDLE POINTS
Somebody should show Texas Gov. George W. Bush a copy of the First
Amendment. His presidential campaign is trying to get the Federal Elections
Commission to take action against a parody web site, http://www.gwbush.com/.
The parody proclaims itself "DRUG-FREE SINCE 1974" and has links to other
parody sites as well as an American Spectator article on how Gov. Bush
benefitted (sic) from a tax-funded stadium built for the Texas Rangers, of
which he once was a part owner. There's also a link to a petition you can
sign to remind the FEC about the First Amendment right to free speech.
