A GATHERING OF LAW-BREAKERS

It all sounds so innocent ... an invitation to a "Smokey Bears Picnic" in
the park.

But don't be fooled. This is no fun-filled family day out.

It is a gathering of law-breakers. People who are not welcome in Norwich.

And our message to them is lous and clear. Stay out of our city. We don't
need you and we don't want you.

Today we reveal how an invitation circulating in Norwich claims that free
samples of the drug cannabis will be handed out to "all those in medical
need" at the event in Chapelfield Gardens.

This is a protest organised by a pro-cannabis group and coachloads of
people from other parts of the country could be coming to Norwich on Sunday
September 26.

The police have warned that supplying cannabis for whatever purpose is a
criminal offence and anyone attending the demonstration should not break
the law.

It is as simple as that.

Like it or not, using this drug is a criminal offence and flouting the law
in public must not be tolerated.
