DRUG WAR IS A FAILURE
Regarding the Sept. 9 article, "New study finds most drug users hold
steady jobs:" According to government findings, 6.3 million full-time
workers use some illegal drug. From this, I can come to only one
conclusion: The government wants to put 6.3 million taxpayers in prison!
Is that when the "war" will be over, when they manage to arrest all
6.3 million?
When will we just wise up and admit that the drug war is, in every
possible way, a monumental failure?
