CONVICTION IN POT CASE
San Francisco - John William Dalton, 44, of Mendocino County has been
convicted of cultivating about 6,000 marijuana plants worth up to $2 million.
Dalton faces a maximum life in prison and $4 million fine. He was convicted
Tuesday of conspiracy, cultivating marijuana and operating a continuing
criminal enterprise.
He was arrested following a five-year investigation by federal authorities
and the Mendocino County Sheriff's Department.
