POLICE KILLING
* Re "Autopsy Report Has New Version of Paz Shooting," Oct. 7: This is
sickening! Police blast the locks off the front and back doors, storm into
the home of an unarmed man in the middle of the night and shoot him to death
in front of his wife. Is this America? Mario Paz is another innocent victim
of the war on drugs, which has corrupted our cops, eroded our civil
liberties and turned our inner-city neighborhoods into free-fire zones. When
will it end?
