TRIO GUILTY OF KILLING POLICE INFORMANT, 17
NORWALK - Two men and a woman were convicted Monday of murdering a teenager
two Southern California police departments had used as a drug informant.
The jury that convicted Jose Ibarra, 21, Michael Martinez, 22, and Florence
Noriega, 30, will return next month to consider whether they should get the
death penalty.
Chad MacDonald, 17, was killed in March 1998 and his 16-year-old girlfriend
was raped, shot in the head and left for dead. She survived and testified
during the trial.
