USC STUDENT PLEADS GUILTY TO SELLING LSD
A college student who boasted of selling LSD to five youths who died in a
car crash after a rave party pleaded guilty to federal drug charges
unrelated to the accident and learned the charges carry a minimum 10-year
prison term.
Hugh "Scottie" McLetchie, a senior at the University of Southern California,
pleaded guilty Monday in Los Angeles to charges of conspiracy, selling LSD
and selling LSD within 1,000 feet of a playground.
U.S. Attorney Christopher D. Johnson announced the charges carry a 10-year
minimum prison term.
