CANNABIS (MARIJUANA) GOD-GIVEN PLANT
As a Christian, it is disturbing to read that a woman who uses the
relatively safe God-given plant cannabis (kaneh bosm/marijuana) for
glaucoma is confronted and has a child take from her ("Mother vows to
fight abuse, drug charges," Nov. 5).
Politicians and voters need to fix this sin, since Christ God our
father, the ecologician, indicates He created all the seed-bearing
plants, saying they are all good, on literally the very first page of
the Bible (see Genesis 1:11-12 and 29-30).
The only biblical restriction placed on cannabis and other plants is
that it is to be accepted with thankfulness (see 1 Timothy 4:1-5). And
"But whoever has the world's goods, and sees his brother in need and
closes his heart against him, how does the love of God abide in him?"
(1 John 3:17). Jesus Christ risked jail to heal the sick.
Further, cannabis is believed to be the tree of life, and the very
last page of the Bible tells us the leaves of the tree of life are for
the healing of the nations.
