CREATE A SANER DRUG POLICY
U.S. Sen. Rod Grams' son was recently [pulled over while driving a car
containing] 10 bags of marijuana.
The drug was [apparently] ready to sell. Fortunately, because of his
father's elevated position in society, he won't be spending any time
behind bars. I would ask Sen. Grams to use his status and protect the
rest of us: repeal the mandatory sentencing for drug crimes, call off
the war on drugs, decriminalize marijuana.
The ex-user George Bush should be able to support you. Together we can
create a saner drug policy, one that separates the violent criminals
from the ones who, like your son, are simply buying, selling, and
using a relatively benign substance, marijuana.
