500 SUPPORT TRAINING OF MORE POLICE
Municipal election candidates for the Burnaby Voters Non-Partisan
Association gathered about 500 signatures Monday night in support of
spending city funds to train more RCMP officers.
Mayoral candidate Ray Power and five council candidates spent an hour and a
half on the SkyTrain platform gathering signatures in an area currently
plagued by crack cocaine dealers.
