NONE HURT IN BAR SHOOTOUT
Five Houston narcotics officers shot it out with the bartender of an east
Houston icehouse, but no one was hit.
The officers, dressed in raid gear and accompanied by uniformed police,
entered Damian Ice House in the 3300 block of East Lockwood at 9:30 p.m.
Thursday.
The bartender, Roland Carranza Jimenez, 37, fired several pistol shots but
surrendered when officers returned fire.
Jimenez was charged with possession of cocaine and aggravated assault on a
public servant.
