MANDARINS AND BUREAUCRATS
Nice article ["Hemp Held Hostage," Nov. 11]. Thank you. Up in Canada, we
are relieved that Kenex has now resumed shipping. While it's legal to grow
here under license, the government is trying to rope in hemp as a possible
food and cosmetic ingredient hazard, and as a "novel food." In this
country, we don't have the DEA, we have the mandarins and bureaucrats.
