MOORE'S WISH

I REFER to the front-page article (CT, December 10), 'MLAs pass drug Bill'.
So the harbinger of Doom gets his wish! Some may say it is too strong a nom
de plume to give Michael Moore. Look at the problems facing Canberrans these
days and all would agree that it is the crisis of the health system, Mr
Moore's portfolio, which needs urgent and constant remedial action.

But instead of focusing on health and getting it right for the people of
Canberra, he concentrates his energies on abortion, euthanasia and the
decriminalisation of drugs; and now he has his greatest wish: a room where
heroin addicts can legally shoot up.
