INJECTING ROOMS: NO WAY TO RIGHT A WRONG
Has anyone thought about who will pay when the first user dies in a "safe"
injecting room? There could be many causes - poor health, previous exposure
to poisonous heroin injected prior to the safe room, injecting more than is
tolerable because they are told it is safe. Will the taxpayer be expected
to pay the sum awarded, or is there some insurance cover?
I have no doubt it is not a matter of if but when the first casualty will
occur.
