Per the Dec. 23 Chronicle story, "Mom arrested after test finds tot
intoxicated," a 16-month-old boy, a half-clothed and unconscious
33-year-old mother and three other children -- aged 12, 13 and 15 --
were all intoxicated. Thank goodness the culprit was alcohol and not
marijuana!

His tongue in cheek condemnation of mj refers to the case of the woman who
puffed a little mj while pregnant, and then promptly lost custody of both
children when her newborn tested positive for it. The children's father
lost custody as well.
