WAR ON DRUGS DEBATE TO BE HELD IN FRISCO

The Drug Policy Forum of Colorado will host its first forum on U.S.
and Colorado drug laws this month. Entitled, "The Beginning of the
End of the War on Drugs," the forum will be held Wed., Jan 26 at 7
p.m. at the Summit County Community Center in Frisco, at 110 Third
Ave. Admission is free and people of all opinions are welcome.

The featured speaker is Jack Woehr (pronounced War), a former state
house of representatives candidate from Golden. Woehr is a computer
programmer, a student of American history and a long-time activist who
has traveled the state speaking critically about U.S. War on Drugs.
Woehr says the U.S. policy on drugs is a cover for a failing political
system. He also believes drug laws are unconstitutional.

The Drug Policy Forum of Colorado is a local grassroots organization
affiliated with similar groups in other states. The group advocates
ending marijuana prohibition and ending the war on drugs. Part of the
group's mission is to encourage public discussion on the issue through
hosting public forums.

Details about the new Frisco-based organization will be presented at
the forum, and more information can be found at wwwv.drugsense.org.
