OUT OF TREATMENT
George Jones has completed his court-ordered alcohol-treatment
program in connection with an auto accident in Franklin, Tenn., that
nearly killed him last year. The country singer pleaded guilty to
driving while impaired in the March 6 accident. An open bottle of
vodka was found in the wreckage. He spent two weeks in rehab. "George
said when he went to the court he felt the Lord had spared him for a
reason, and he wanted to do well in view of being granted that measure
of grace," said his lawyer, Ed Yarbrough.
