MARIJUANA IS SMOKING TOO
Re: The Who prove they still have that '60s energy, Sept. 16.
I enjoyed the Who concert last week. I fully expected to be deaf from
the music (which I am not) and with a sore throat from cheering.
My throat was sore, however, due to the inconsiderate marijuana
smokers in rows F to L of section 302. There were at least three
groups who just had to have the marijuana haze going during the
concert, which of course floated up to where I was in row R. Not only
were they breaking the non-smoking bylaw, but they caused my scratchy
throat that took the better part of 24 hours to clear up due to my
sensitivity to cigarette smoke of any type. My brother-in-law, who
has asthma, had to leave his seat for a period of time to use his
inhaler.
Thank you, smokers, for diminishing our pleasure in the Who concert.
Thank goodness you did not destroy it.
