MAYORAL CANDIDATE SMOKED CANNABIS

THE Liberal Democrat candidate for London mayor admitted last night that
she, like Mo Mowlam, had once smoked cannabis.

Susan Kramer, 49, whose chances of winning the mayoral race are at 80-1,
told BBC Radio 4 Any Questions that she "certainly in university took the
occasional puff". Ms Kramer, a former banker, studied at St Hilda's College
and was President of the Oxford Union in 1971. Two months ago, Ms Kramer
said she had no skeletons in her cupboard. "If you are the mother of two
children, a wife and you have a more- than-full-time job you don't have any
time to get yourself in scandalous trouble."
