U.S., MEXICO SET DRUG TALKS AGENDA
WASHINGTON (AP) - The United States and Mexico agreed Monday to hold
talks next month in Washington on U.S. support for Mexico's
counterdrug efforts, disaster relief and training for the Mexican military.
Officials said the arrangements were among regional security issues
discussed at the Pentagon between Defense Secretary William Cohen and
his Mexican counterpart, Enrique Cervantes Aguirre. It was Cohen's
first meeting with the Mexico defense secretary.
