SPEAKING FIRST

Editor, The News:

Re: Trustees Refute Meth Claims (The News, Sept. 16).

Our mayor, Gordy Robson, once again shows him speaking before his
brain has been fired up and his ideas has been thought out.

We remember how he attempted to open a house for meth patients and by
doing so and contravened a building code.

Perhaps, he tried to get an Inspector to help, but our inspectors are
beyond this chicanery.

He states there are hundreds and hundreds of meth users being
suspended from school, yet again, like a broken record, he cannot
produce any statistics. Surely the school board chair, Cheryl Ashlie,
has more credibility than this overstressed mayor of ours.

Perhaps, he should take a vacation and give the reins to someone else
to run awhile or he could just be a gentleman and quit.

With his foot in his mouth and his knee-jerk reaction, all he has
done is to scare off people who were considering joining a volunteer
task force.

What help are you ready to provide next, mayor?
