REASONED CHOICE
THE message we should be giving to our young people is not 'do not use drugs
because we tell you not to', but ' choose between a drug-free life or a
drug-controlled life'.
People seen as role models by the youngsters have a duty (it goes it the
massive money they make) to help them live a drug-free life.
Adults must remember we abuse two of the most addictive drugs, alcohol and
nicotine. We cannot be hypocritical and then wonder why youngsters use
cannabis and ecstasy, which many see as their equivalent of alcohol and
nicotine.
