COLLEGES OK NEW POLICY
ORLANDO, Fla. -- The state Board of Regents on Friday approved a policy
allowing Florida's public universities to notify parents if their underage
children are caught using drugs or alcohol.
The state's 10 public campuses will develop their own notification policy,
which likely will take effect in September. It will apply to students under
21 who are financial dependents of their parents.
