END RAIDS
We have an outstanding police department here in Denver; it's too bad the
no-knock raid policy has resulted in some very good people being hurt.
Ismael Mena's family lost their father, Police Chief Tom Sanchez steps down
and all members of the team that had a part in the raid have suffered
emotionally and have had their reputations damaged. Isn't it time to do
away with the no-knock raid policy?
Likewise, in the case of police chases that have been a hazard to citizens
and policemen: The speed limits the police enforce are for the citizens'
protection, so shouldn't the police also live by these same rules?
