WAR IS HELL

The UN just figured this out, when the police in this country are battling
this problem everyday. Yet our greatest obstacles are the following: a lack
of political willpower both at the provincial and federal level combined
with a lack of judicial willpower.

Canadian politicians allow our streets to be poisoned by drug dealers who
ruin and terrorize communities. Yet, it is time that better and bigger
prisons were built to house these people.

The lack of judicial willpower stems from the fact that judges release
these criminals back into a community where they do not reside and do not
believe incarceration is the answer. However, the idea of community-based
policing leads one to ask "Why not community-based judges?"
