DRUG WAR IRONY
To the editor:
On the same day you reported that Rochester had acquired a new drug sniffing
K-9, the Conway, Arkansas police force blasted an Arkansas State Police drug
dog, aka "Charlie the drug Dog," to smithereens, because they didn't
recognize Charlie as one of their own and feared for their safety.
Fortunately it wasn't an innocent bystander, as is so often the case across
America during these "drug operations."
Just another irony in the continuing saga of a drug war gone terribly wrong.
