ILLEGAL DRUGS, LEGAL INJECTION

IN regard to the shooting gallery debate, I came to the conclusion
that a lot of people are still confused about the real role of such a
"gallery" proposed and forced upon the citizens of Sydney by the
Uniting Church Reverend Ray Richmond and MP Clover Moore, and the
misguided backing of police.

The debate has been going on for some time, and it appears that in
spite of local opposition by some churchmen, political figures and
some police officials, the shooting gallery will be up and running
very shortly. Legally.

I was debating the pros and cons of the shooting gallery for hard-drug
addicted people with a friend. He was in favour for such an
establishment, to my amazement! I then realised that his idea was to
line them up (the druggoes) and shoot them. I tried to dissuade him
from such a drastic measure, but I had to respect his opinion. After
all we are in an age of free speech and freedom of behavior when you
can organise places to inject illegal drugs legally and it becomes
acceptable.

Thanks to a lot of misguided do-gooders, there is already a second
generation of misfits without manners, pride or goals, with the
attitude of "give it to me or I'll take it, I deserve as much as
anyone else". Because they know that every do-gooder will back them
up. They would kick their grandmother's head in. If they hurt their
toe they would demand compensation. Grandma's head was too hard. Are
we giving away too much to undeserving, selfish, so-called victims?

A FRANKS,
Figtree.
