CANNABIS - CITED MATERIAL MUST MEET STANDARDS OF RIGOUR
Sir
Both sides of the cannabis debate need to convince the rest of us that
their respective cited medical, social, scientific, and psychological
evidence uses adequate parameters.
Those parameters are large research samples, representative populations,
long-duration research, and justification of their claims about risk
reduction and harm minimisation.
If either side cites material that does not meet these standards of rigour,
then it is guilty of junk science.
I am concerned at the Christian Right's involvement as prohibitionist
supporters, given their continual use of junk science within reproductive
health and gay rights debates.
