DEA OFFERS PRESENTATION ON SPOTTING, WIPING OUT NEIGHBORHOOD METH LABS

A Drug Enforcement Agency clandestine lab team will present "What's
Cooking in Your Neighborhood?" on Friday at 6 p.m. in Roy High School
theater. There is no charge to attend.

The focus of the presentation is to educate the public about the
dangers of methamphetamine labs operating within neighborhoods.
Information includes how to spot a meth lab and what to do if you
suspect one is operating.

A number of visual dem-onstrations and displays are planned. Meth
labs are a significant problem in Utah. On a per capita basis, there
are more meth labs busted in the state than anywhere else in the country.
