CANNABIS DESTROYED MY SON
Sir - I hope cannabis is never legalised. It broke my heart to see our
much-loved son caught up in the addictive, horrid world of drugs.
He did not start with LSD or heroin - he started with legalised
tobacco. After a short time this was not enough to have fun on, so the
next drug became the order of the day - cannabis (easily available at
$20 a foil).
Well, this drug had side effects - he lost concentration, he lost
respect for those who loved him, he lost motivation, became
unhygienic, got expelled because he had it in his schoolbag. He lost
his moral values, and a lot of his conscience.
I thank God that our son is now free from that awful drug bondage, but
many more wish they, too, had never smoked their first joint.
