WAR ON DRUGS KEEPS PEOPLE EMPLOYED
Sir - Savva Kerdemelidis (April 4) says cannabis should remain illegal
so gang members have a less serious crime to keep themselves occupied.
I suppose it should also remain illegal so prosecutors, defence
lawyers, dog trainers, narcotics officers, judges, test lab workers,
gun manufacturers, prison guards, prison builders, and all the other
people who make their living off the war on drugs can remain gainfully
employed.
