FROM THE FRONT LINE, TALE OF FAILED DRUG WAR
To the Editor:
An excellent letter by Mr. Larry Stevens regarding the media and the drug
prohibition. I would say that what he describes and criticizes is not
censorship, per se, but rather very biased reporting. And we know the
source of the bias - the desire of the mainstream media to appease the
federal government. That, coupled with an abysmal knowledge of the history
of the drug prohibition, have made the idea of a public dialogue very
false.
