POOR TURNOUT FOR CANNABIS DEBATE
ONLY a handful of people turned up to a public meeting to debate whether or
not cannabis should be legalised.
The meeting, held last night, had been organised by Marcus Davies (31), who
was selected as the Legalise Cannabis Alliance candidate for the forthcoming
local election in the city's East Ward.
Mr Davies, of BriarWay, Peterborough, said: "I hoped there would be people
who were against me so that I could convince them of the benefits of
cannabis, which helps me medically"
