HOW TO DRUG PROOF YOUR KIDS

Having launched a national parenting initiative called How to Drug Proof
Your Kids in March last year, it is with a great deal of frustration that
we have been unable to secure government support for this program that has
significant "runs on the board". In a short time, we have seen more than
12,000 parents attend more than 55 community information and awareness
evenings or attend the program's sessions. More than 230 parent programs
have been registered, and more than 700 facilitators trained representing
community organisations.

The chairman of the Australian National Council on Drugs, Brian Watters,
has said that "no other organisation or program has helped parents this
much in the area of drug prevention and education over last 12 months".

Lets involve parents, rather than remove them from the solution.
