THERE WILL ALWAYS BE DRUGS

TO BEGIN, I'd like to point out that the Sun has misspelled my name twice
now. (For the record, it's Adam Willson.)

That aside, I am directing this letter in response to the editorial "Rave
review" (April 25). I would like to clarify that while I do not consider an
8,000-people party at the CNE a rave, I would agree with your comment that
something must be done regarding the amount of drugs seen - be it at raves,
or night clubs, or elsewhere in Toronto.

Regrettably, history has shown that there will always be dealers, drugs, and
those willing to use them. Arguably, one may say these are more easily
obtained at such parties. However, I think the fact of the matter is
glaringly obvious: the problem lies not in the raves, music events,
concerts, nightclubs, etc, but in the availability of drugs in Toronto and
in the lack of educational material available to young adults.

(By the time you're a young adult you should know drugs are bad)
