JAIL TIME FOR DEALERS
Sara Rose [letters, April 24] responded to Barry McCaffrey's comparison of
drug abuse to cancer [op-ed, April 17] by saying that we do not put people
in jail for having leukemia.
We do, however, prosecute people - and sometimes incarcerate them--for
dumping carcinogens into the environment.
