Toronto -- Re Fantino Wants Ban on Raves at Exhibition Place (April 29): The
Globe reported that the Toronto police chief's investigation on raves
revealed "alarming statistics:" two CNE raves attended by 21,000 people
resulted in 47 arrests. But when I did the math, the arrests that happened
at these parties amounted to less than a quarter of one per cent of those in
attendance. I then tried to plot this on a graph, but I couldn't find a pen
fine enough to mark the arrests against those that attended these raves.
Does The Globe have a pen I can borrow?
