PAPER, TANT TAKEN TO TASK FOR MARIJUANA MARCH COLUMN

I'm responding to Ed Tant's column in Saturday's (April 22) paper. In his
column Tant talks about drug induced delusional nonsense such as
"revolutions" and "radicalism." Is Mr. Tant a grown man or a rebellious
teen-age punk?

Anyway, Tant uses his column to promote the "Millennium Marijuana March"
that is scheduled to take place in Atlanta. What bothers me is the fact that
we beg our children to avoid drugs and then you have Ed Tant writing a
column promoting an event whose platform is to call for the legalization of
marijuana!

Can you imagine all of the pathetic losers you would see at the Millennium
Marijuana March? Mr. Tant, you can choose to ruin your body through drug
abuse if you desire, but there are many people in society today that would
like to keep our world drug free and safe for our children! We're not living
in the '60s anymore.

Perhaps it's time for you to come down off that cloud and face reality like
the rest of us!
