DRUG COURTS
QUEENSLAND'S first drug courts will start in Beenleigh, Southport and
Ipswich on June 13 as part of a 30-month pilot programme trial,
Attorney-General Matt Foley told State Parliament yesterday. Also yesterday
Police Minister Tom Barton launched a mobile drug test van, which will be
used to conduct random drug tests on offenders serving community custody
orders.
