THE MILLION MOMS AND PROHIBITION

So, the Million Mom March spokespersons are proud that women led the
temperance fight. This cause, as I read history, in turn led to
Prohibition (take away the booze) - perhaps 20th-century America's
single greatest social catastrophe, leading directly to the rise of
organized crime.

If the Million Mom March (take away the guns) has a similar outcome,
then we can only shudder at what the 21st century holds in store.
