STARK RAVING MAD Editorial

RE "STARK raving mad" (Editorial, May 20): My position has always been that
people will find a way to bend their minds one way or another. Whenever I've
been in an argument with an anti-drug zealot, we have been ingesting
alcohol - so? What's the difference?

In the far north, where pills and pot are not readily available, youths
sniff glue and gasoline. So where there's a will, there's a way. We can
chase pot growers, pill-makers etc. from here to eternity and there will
always be a product available. Spend money on education, not trying to chop
every pot plant or flush every pill - you'll never win this war that way!
