DRUG MEETING FEATURES RADIO PERSONALITY

PHOENIX — Psychologist Isabel Gomez-Bassols, one of the most recognized
personalities on the Radio Unica Communications Spanish-language network,
is scheduled to join U.S. drug czar Barry McCaffrey at a U.S.-Mexico drug
demand reduction conference in Phoenix.

Gomez-Bassols is to appear on the first day of the May 31 to June 2
conference. She plans to deliver a 20-minute presentation on the impact her
national radio program has in reaching the Hispanic population. McCaffrey
is director of the White House Office of National Drug Control.

Gomez-Bassols' show is broadcast weekdays from 9 a.m. to noon. Radio Unica
operates stations across the country, including one in Phoenix and another
in Tucson.
