OPPOSES AID TO COLOMBIA

I think your readers should be made more aware of the protests against the
Clinton/Gore actions in Colombia. They propose to give a billion dollars to
Colombia and to prop-up the military there with new weapons of destruction;
like super attack helicopters made in Connecticut. On April 14, the United
Nations released a report proving direct links of that Colombia military to
death squads, civilian massacres and drug trafficking. This report comes on
the heels of similar reports by Human Rights Watch, Amnesty International
and the Catholic Church.

The money for the Colombia military was just approved by the House of
Representatives but may be voted down in the U.S. Senate if enough people
oppose the Colombia massacres.

I'd appreciate it if your paper would assign this story to a reporter for a
more in-depth report. The Colombia genocide is certainly more important
than the article you presented about Mr. Gore's political strategies.
