DRUG TALLY

I was most impressed with the recent article exposing the blatant
wrongs in the way Florida tallies up its designer-drug deaths.

It seems that nowadays the popular trend in the news media is to jump
all over everything involving "designer drugs" and to spend a lot of
time trying to demonize the whole of America's youth culture.

I was particularly impressed that you showed that, though the
"designer-drug" (for lack of a better term) epidemic among young
Americans is particularly troubling, you were one of the few
news-media outlets to make a discernible attempt to give both sides of
the issue, as opposed to merely rehashing the same stuff about young
people and drugs.
