FREE PEOPLE SHOULD ACT FREE
Editor:
Regarding the Board of Supervisors taking up the issue of medical
marijuana ("Supes set for vote on pot card program," The Reporter,
Sept. 24): Why do adult citizens of a so-call free country need
permission from their government to consume marijuana or any other
substance - especially in the privacy of their own homes?
It seems to me that adult citizens of a so-called free country should
be free to smoke, swallow, snort or inject any substance they want in
the privacy of their own homes.
It seems to me that a free country should be a free country.
