CAN'T WIN

There are four reasons why we the American public will never, ever win the
"war on drugs." They are: Too many wealthy, influential people enjoy illegal
drugs; too many children of wealthy, influential people enjoy illegal drugs;
too many wealthy, influential people profit enormously from illegal drugs;
too many children of wealthy, influential people profit enormously from
illegal drugs.

When you consider these four facts, keep these two conditions in mind: The
"too many" in each category may or may not be the same, perhaps not even
even vaguely the same "too many" in any other category. Too many is too
many, even if it's not even close to being a majority in any one of the
categories. A few people can run the whole show, if they have the right
strings.
