POT POLICY
I am glad to see that a recent National Post poll indicated that
"two-thirds of Canadians believe that possession of marijuana should not be
a criminal offence." And I am immensely thankful to Justice Jo-Ann Prowse
for revealing the idiocy of the marijuana prohibition (Prison Time For
Smoking Pot Violates Charter: B.C. Judge, June 5). If we can see reasonable
marijuana laws work in Canada, it just might be easier to change the drug
war in the United States.
