DRUGS FOUND AT PALACE
CANNABIS has been discovered in the Queen's kitchen at Buckingham Palace.
Police raided the kitchen of the palace in the early hours of Saturday, and
found a small quantity of cannabis.
A spokeswoman for Scotland Yard said: "A very small quantity of a cannabis
plant was discovered and has been taken away for examination. The amount
involved is minute and probably not usable. There have been no arrests and
it is uncertain whether there will any further action taken."
It was reported that the alert was raised by a member of staff, who tipped
off the Royalty Protection Squad. It is understood that the Queen has
demanded a full search for the culprit.
Buckingham Palace declined to comment.
