GROWING POT A PRICY PROPOSAL
PRINCE GEORGE - Despite the lure of a $5-million federal pot-growing
contract, Gary Halls says the process is a bit too pricy for him.
Along with $78 for a Health Canada package that explains the growing
criteria, the successful bidder must also post a $100,000 bond.
The cost of the grow operation could reach about $400,000.
The grower would provide 100,000 marijuana cigarettes a year to Ottawa
for medicinal purposes.
