NOTABLE OBITUARIES
Peter McWilliams, 50, a proponent of marijuana for medical use who was
awaiting sentencing on drug charges, died Wednesday in Los Angeles. He had
cancer and was suffering from AIDS, according to a statement from
Libertarian Party supporters. McWilliams was to be sentenced in August for
conspiring to grow and sell marijuana to cannabis clubs.
